Filtering analytics by date range and workspace
Both analytics pages — Overview and Channels — are controlled by two settings at the top: the date range and the workspace scope. Everything below them recalculates to match. Here's how each one works.
Date range
Choose the window every number is measured over:
- Last 7, 30, or 90 days for a quick preset, or
- Custom to pick your own start and end dates.
Dates are interpreted in your own timezone, and the end date is inclusive — so a custom range ending "today" includes everything up to the end of your day, not a cutoff several hours early. This matters most on the time-of-day heatmap and the resolution-time trend, which are both plotted in your local time.
Workspace scope
If your organization has more than one workspace, the scope control decides which inboxes are counted:
- One workspace — just that inbox's numbers.
- Several, or all — the totals combine across them.
When you select two or more workspaces, an extra comparison panel appears, breaking the numbers out per workspace side by side — useful for seeing whether one brand is carrying a different load or a different AI-handled rate than another.
Your view is shareable and sticks
Both controls are reflected in the page's web address, so you can:
- Copy the URL and send a teammate the exact same view — same range, same workspaces.
- Move between Overview and Channels without losing your selection; it carries over.
Your workspace scope is also remembered for next time, so you land back where you left off.
If a view looks empty
Analytics only has something to show once conversations have come in for the range and workspaces you picked. A brand-new workspace, or a very short custom range, may show "No data for this range yet." Widen the range or include more workspaces, and the numbers fill in.
