Your public help center

Your published knowledge base isn't just fuel for the AI — it's also a public help center your customers can browse and search on their own. Every workspace gets one automatically, at no extra setup.

Where it lives

Your help center is hosted on your workspace's subdomain, at https://yourslug.acornreply.com/knowledge. From there, visitors get:

  • a browsable hub of your content, organized by category,
  • separate article and FAQ indexes, and
  • search, so they can find an answer by typing a question.

Share the link anywhere — your website nav, your email footer, your contact form's confirmation.

What appears (and what doesn't)

The help center shows only published entries. Anything unpublished stays private — visible to your team and usable as a working draft, but never shown to customers. Publish an entry to add it; unpublish to remove it. Assign entries to categories so the hub has clear navigation as it grows (see Organizing your help center with categories).

It helps customers help themselves

A good help center reduces the number of questions that reach your inbox at all — and when the AI suggests articles to a customer before they submit a request, those come from this same published content. Every conversation a customer resolves by reading an article shows up as self-served in your analytics.

Search-engine friendly, automatically

Your help center is set up to be found:

  • A per-workspace sitemap lists your help-center pages and every published article and FAQ, and updates as your content changes.
  • A robots file points crawlers at that sitemap.

There's nothing to configure — it's generated from whatever you've published.

Make it your own

The help center carries your branding, and you can style its pages under Settings → Appearance. To serve it from your own domain (like help.yourcompany.com) instead of the AcornReply subdomain, see Use your own domain for your help center.
