How does assignment work?

Every conversation has one assignee or none. Replying claims it for you, and a returning customer's message goes to whoever last helped them. Tap the assignee chip to assign to yourself, a teammate, or unassign; the Mine filter shows just yours. Everyone still sees every conversation.
